Dan Wootton, journalist and presenter, has just come out with a list of the 50 biggest freedom fighters around the world today. Wootton, who has himself been canceled, included many people who were subjects of cancel culture and came to fight for their beliefs. Of course, this list is all personal opinion, no poll was taken, and even in the comments below his initial post he agrees it’s quite subjective and there are many people he probably could have included instead. However, one fact remains true from this list. All these names are from Western countries, or so-called first-world countries, who supposedly represent the free world. As we look at Tik Tok bans, governments partnering with social media companies for censorship, it raises the question: Has turmoil in politics and the rise of unfiltered social media made us more or less free? The Biden administration reached out to Twitter and Facebook to suppress information about Hunter Biden’s laptop and conservative political speech in particular, a move that landed them in hot water with the US Supreme Court. Machete gang rob man in broad daylight
Yet more lawlessness from the streets of Sadiq Khan’s London, as a machete wielding gang robbed a man in broad daylight, then began slashing at his legs and stomping on his head. The attack occurred in central London’s Woolwich area, outside a small real estate agent office, forcing terrified realtors to cower inside as the attack unfolded. So too did passengers on a bus, who filmed the entire incident, including the stabbing, slashing, stomping and running away.
Police quickly attended the scene and took the victim to the hospital, where the man in his 20s was treated for ‘non-life threatening’ and ‘non-life changing’ injuries. Police are investigating the incident and hunting for the suspects; however, they have found no trace of them so far, as London’s 8 billion cameras are only designed to issue extra taxes to drivers, not actually monitor criminal activity.

Israeli protesters attack Gaza bound aid truck, destroy contents
A group of aid trucks carrying vital supplies to Gaza from Jordan was set upon by an Israeli mob on Monday, who ripped open bags of food and other essentials, throwing the bags out onto the road. Footage shared on social media shows the group pulling boxes from the trucks and stomping on them.
According to reports in the Israeli media, the Tzav 9 activist group was responsible for the incident, although the group has distanced itself from some of the actions carried out. One protester told reporters that ‘no food should go into Gaza’ until Hamas returned its Israeli hostages.
Washington has condemned what they call ‘looting,’ stating the actions of the Israeli group are ‘a total outrage’ and confirming that they were raising concerns with ‘the highest level of the Israeli government.’

State trooper leaves position after controversial arrest video
A state trooper who arrested two LGBT activists in Philadelphia after a traffic stop has now left his position, after part of the interaction was filmed and shared online. Celena Morrison, executive director of City Hall’s Office of LGBT Affairs, and husband Darius McLean were arrested in March after a traffic stop escalated, although the events leading up to the arrest are unclear. It was claimed in a subsequent report that ‘the individual refused multiple lawful orders made by the trooper,’ and ‘resisted arrest on multiple occasions,’ with both ultimately arrested for ‘Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Justice, Disorderly Conduct and other related charges.’
Following the video’s publication, Pennsylvania State Police said a full investigation, including witness interviews, were in the process looking into the traffic stop and all aspects of the encounter. The unnamed officer is confirmed to no longer be working for the department, although it’s unknown whether he resigned or was fired.

Several life-size (ish) Transformers statues bound for a movie exhibition in Taiwan were stopped in Thailand and found to be packed with an extraordinary amount of ketamine.
The drugs hidden inside Bumblebee et al were found in an elaborate sting operation, following a multinational police effort to monitor an unknown woman who had tried to smuggle 100kg of methamphetamine hidden in a food processor into Australia. Her latest ‘decepticon’ involved packing giant Transformers statues with 320kg of ketamine and paying $4,800 to a shipping company to send ostensibly to a movie exhibition in Taiwan.
A woman from Laos was supposed to intercept the shipment and distribute the drugs, which were made in Cambodia, across the region. While the ketamine, estimated to have a street value of nearly $20 million, was seized, the ‘lynchpins’ of this international drug smuggling scheme remain at large, probably thinking of more weird things they can stick drugs in.
